Everyone I've talked to with an auto, they've said a stall was needed.
I love my car now that I've had it worked on. The power and the sound is infectious!

I ran a mild cam with no stall for a while. I hated it. Even though you can run it with a stock converter.Because the first gear is so low,when the cam loped,it would try to go forward abit. it was OK if I manually put the tranny in second gear though.
Went with a Circle D converter. Very happy with it now.

I love everything about my car since the cam install! Not sold on my exhaust as I had Flowmaster American Thunder on the previous car and this one had the SLP on it when I bought it. Just not sold on it but not willing to shell out for another unknowing the sound.
I also really think the stall is needed. Every performance shop here in and around Indy had that on the list to do for my car when I requested a quote on the work to be done.
