Sixth Gen not even in production as of the writing of the article? Can't really test what doesn't exist yet.

However, if you're good at reading between the lines, the ATS V and the CTS V should gives a bit of idea what to expect.

Yes, today is the day Phalen posted the story in USA Today/Money. The Story is about the release of the Road and Track Performance Car of the Year results.

When they did the road tests, the Camaro was probably not available to them. That is what I meant.

Thanks. I had not seen those numbers, but I am not so concerned about those numbers either. I want the lap times at VIR so we can compare them to the 1LE lap times. 3.9 is impressive though. That's like .3 sec better than a current SS right?
