Hehehe...Donna, I know the feeling!!!

I STILL can't find the time to get out and just take a drive. I've got this kids this am while mama is out and about doing shopping with my sis-in law. Maybe I'll put the kids car seats in and go for a spin.

So..how far out on LI do you live? I'll be coming up in October/November and don't know if I'll be around Islandia or as far out as Calverton. Will definitely hit Fillingham's in Southampton for dinner one night...a wonderful little local dive.

Check out my Aviator.... that pic was when I drove Ruby off the lot...

I too was my dealerships/salemans most excited customer!! I drove my poor salesman crazy & he was so patient & understanding. He told me he had never seen a more excited buyer! EVER!!

He knew I wanted to see Ruby come off the truck & that I had been tracking her all the way from Oshawa... but when I emailed & called to tell him Ruby was on her way to the dealership...he didn't respond to my pleas of "please tell me when to come see her"... that morning, for a while, I was beside myself...then finally he called saying that he was sorry but he had been busy, with "chores", "chores", customers, etc...but Ruby was already there & in make ready & I could come at 1:00 to get her.... so I waited...impatiently, kinda upset that I didn't get to see her come off the truck.

But when I drove in the dealerships lot...I saw her...sitting there with balloons flying all around her & her name RUBY on her windshield!! The whole dealership personell came out clapping & cheering for me FINALLY GETTING MY CAMARO!!! (4 months of waiting).... anyway...my salesman had set it all up & that was what he was so busy with while I was calling & emailing him that morning!!

The other day I emailed him telling him of Ruby's experiences & asked if he missed me.... he said "Yea, I miss ya. Come by & see me".

I LOVE RUBY!!!
