I too recently bought a 15 SS RS model. Got an amazing deal, 28,600. I'm 35 and smile every time I step on the gas. Love the way it looks and have received a lot of compliments on it which makes me proud that I can own this car.

They are getting in short supply in my area and I'm picky so I had to pull the trigger. I would feel better if I could have gotten another grand or two off but this was the best I could do. I did this because I wanted to move into the V8 and I gotta say on the 2016 I love the front end, can live with the rear, and am less than excited about the side view. I know they are going to be quick but that side view does nothing for me. Maybe I'll get used to it. I just really love the Gen 5. I'm 59 so this may be my last one. I do have to say after driving the LFX V6 for over a year that I thought the V8 would be quicker. It's quick and I couldn't really get on it because it's so cold the tires would just spin but I was thinking more about how impressed I was with the LFX than the L99. I'm sure when I can stand on it I'll notice more but I will never knock a V6 owner. My trade in was a nice ride.

As others have said, I feel the biggest difference when I'm already moving and accelerating to a higher speed.
Everyone who gets the L99 should go through a couple of tanks of premium fuel & then do the fuse pull.
