Interesting. I must have been living in an alternate universe. All my other Mylinks (4 of them) have worked the same way. Until the reprogramming, my current Mylink was switching automatically. I know I haven't been imagining this. Maybe someone else will chime in.

Hi benji276289,

I regret to hear of this ongoing concern you're experiencing with your Camaro. If you would like, we can certainly look into this on our end and contact your dealership for more information. Thank you for your interest but my dealer has already contacted the factory and one of the people that apparently helped design Mylink basically said I was nuts and didn't know what I was talking about. So I am fighting a losing battle.

Well after all that trouble, the solution turned out to be simple. On a whim I switched my map mode to 3D north. Now it works first time, everytime. It won't work in 2D north or 2D direction of auto. Just wondering why the person at the factory that "helped design" the system didn't know this. You guys with navigation please try this and see if it works for you also.

I thought mine was in 3D but will check next time I drive.

So after switching to 3D, you can be on main radio and it will change to turn and then back?

Chevrolet Customer Care[/QUOTE]Please read further down. Problem solved. Person at factory who claimed to be involved in the development of Mylink must have forgot how to operate it.

UPDATE: Believe it or not, now it is working on all three map modes. This is the way it should have been working all along. Mylink sure is a quirky piece of electronics.

One other travel link issue not working and hasn't since I bought this car and activated the service with Sirius/XM is the fuel app. This app worked on the previous Camaros that I owned but not on my 2014. My dealer says that the factory has told them this is a wide spread problem and it is on Sirius/XM's responsibility. Sirius/XM says it is Chevy's fault. My question is does anyone else with a 2014 have this same issue? If it isn't such a wide spread problem then I believe Chevy is obligated to change out my module with one that works properly. Appreciate any responses.

It worked on my 2014 for the trial 1 year period I had. Worked from Sep 14 to Sep 15.

Miracle of miracles. On a whim, I tried out the fuel price app this morning and now, after three months of owning this car, it started working. I went back and forth several times, and changed some of the menu settings to see if there would be any effect. But it it continued to work. Now if I could just get someone to laser cut my new flip key I got from Ebay........
