What am I doing wrong??

I believe my video is attached. if not then I have the link down below.

I"m just sucking at my initial launch. Any ideas on how I can improve. I know my car should be running in the 12s. and trapping speeds faster then 109mph.

Sounds like you are spinning off the line. Why tires are you running and what pressure?
Sounds like a stick car I guess you could launch a little lower or slip the clutch. I don't like slipping the clutch a whole bunch. Maybe new tires?

It spins and then like bogs down. I'm running the pzeros summer tires. I'm having my tuner lower my launch down to either 2k or 1.75k rpms. Tires are at 30psi

Instead of launching at 4k where the stock launch control is. And I'm not really sure what you mean when you refer to slipping the clutch. This is my first stick and my first fast car. I was always riding motorcycles.

Mine was doing that if you at launching with the factory launch control I would stop. Not very good. When mine was stock I tried a couple times and have better results with traction control all the way off hold the button for 8 seconds don't press it twice. I was launching between 3000 and 4000 with better luck.

By slipping clutch I meant feathering the clutch out not dumping the clutch. I don't side step the clutch my foot stays on it the whole way up I just bring it up fairly quickly.

I also think the tires have a lot to do with the spinning and then bogging the have very little give for traction so you can't leave very high. If you do you spin I would lower tire pressure to 25 and work down from there with traction control all off not in competitive mode.

After reading the Drag racing newbie thread and your input, I've already learned so much. Thanks again. I'll chime back in after my next visit to the track. I'm just waiting on my tuner to get back to me. I installed LTH and I'm running lean to rich. I was told I could blow my engine so she has been sitting for a couple of days. :( You have helped a lot though!!

Oh not good. Should be an easy fix with a tune. Another piece of advice if you go with sticky tires get axles too! A lot of stick cars on here have had broken axles.

I didn't even notice that when I watched. It looks like he did that would be a major contribution to the spinning bad. I know when I tried competition mode it basically bogged right away.

If you have good DR's or slicks turn it all off.

Street tires small burnout. Drag radials big burnout. Huge difference
