bought mine today...didnt see the saphire so i went with transparent blue...and used my 40% off coupon...

Yup that's the paint I got was the Transparent Blue and sprayed it about three coats. I like then I let it dry for 24 hrs before I assembled it. I know most guys I know grew up building model cars, but being a girl I didn't. Now as I got out the doll stages I did like hot wheels and the race tracks lol..

Those coupons are awesome. That's what I used to buy my nice F-15 model kit. Made it like $16 instead of $30. I was going to post one here, but couldn't find one quickly.

Awesome guys. Guess I just got luck to find the sapphire blue. Close enough for me. Taking it to work tomorrow and put on my desk.. Hopefully the real thing will be here THIS WEEK!!!!!

I was going to do the exact same thing, of course i thought of that after 2 coats

I could not get the red tail lights to stay, i may have to glue mine...
