I have 25mm front and 20mm back wheel spacers in my garage, just waiting for the car now with delivery in april/may.
Been running spacers on my two last cars for the past 6 years without any problems.
Those were a 1998 Corvette C5 and a 2003 Cobra, also went om trackdays with them about once a year.
The front wheels on the Camaro are really tucked in and need to moved out to look good, the backs are better but will get a nice wide stance with spacers.
I also have PFADT springs going on at the same time.

Send a message via Yahoo to SummoneR
Gary from Garys Customs has been running them for some time and even races with them on his chromed OEM wheels. He even had his wheels widened.

Wat about a billet 5mm spacer with 555r for street and one to two track visits a year?

So spacers, considering they are hubcentric and have separate bolts, are okay to use on the fronts and rears? This is a must as the wheels are way too tucked in. They need to be pushed out with a 1.25" drop.

Where did you get them?

For just driving around they are fine. I wouldn't run a big spacer at the track, though.

I just don't know why you would run a spacer that small unless you need the caliper clearance.

Bump. Explain just driving. Spirited driving? I don't have plans for putting drag radials on my car, but I like to accelerate from 0 quickly.

You'll get tons of opinions on this, here's my experience.
I have fronts widened to 10 3/4 by weldcraft. I run them on the rear with a 1/2 inch hub centric spacer. I'm careful and always retorque the bolts on the spacers after about 50 miles of normal driving.

With these spacers I've done the following:
Made 20-30 passes at the drag strip, high 11's low 12s mostly.
Done a lot of laps on a very technical road course. (Not sure maybe a hundred laps or so)
A few thousand miles of rallying, runs and sprints.

I've been at speeds in excess of 180 miles an hour.

I've never had a single issue with them. Although I wouldn't mind putting some stronger lugs in them just because.

(I bought these used from another member who ran drag radials)

Would I prefer to run without spacers? Yes, no doubt. Unfortunately I've had 0 luck finding a cost effective solution for drag radials, shit even the expensive solutions are a month to two wait.

Had to put spacers on my rear wheels because they were touching my calipers. The wheels are Lexani"s and was SUPPOSE TO FIT!! That's what the salesman said over the phone anyway. Needless to say, they didn't. Gonna order some longer studs just for peace of mind. I really like the look with the spacers, though.
