I really want heated steering wheel in my car, and would even put up with that bulky looking 6th gen wheel to get it.

Yes I have been researching it quite extensively. I just did a similar swap on My wife's 2011 Silverado. It took Me 2 hours and wasn't too bad. That costed Me around $380 total.
The Camaro one though will cost $699 for the wheel with the air bag. Clockspring and harness is about another $100 or so.

I have all the part numbers at work. I will list them tomorrow once I verify them all.

I bought My new seat covers from them and they were a lot less than everyone else.

I was delayed a little with the Holidays but I have everything ordered and will be tackling this job as soon as I receive all the parts.
I will wait on posting the part numbers until I'm sure everything is correct and We get it to work.

Ok, got all the parts I think I need. Total was roughly $710. Now I have to find a buddy with a wheel puller or try to rent one. Someone posted it is a bit bulkier,That is true but I assume that is because of the heating element.

Yes I have, The clock spring will work. The new one is 16 circuit and the old one is 14 ckt.

Thanks for that, I forgot I need 1 more harness because I don't have the last 2 circuits in there. That harness with connector is 15 bucks so add that to the price. It is a 2 wire harness that supplies (switched) power and ground to the heater for the steering wheel.

You shouldn't need a steering wheel puller. I had to pull my steering wheel recently and didn't need one. Once you remove the retaining nut, a couple good smacks on the outer rim of the steering wheel will loosen it enough to slide it off.
