Check this thread, I ended up getting a Vette.
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31010 Will probably still get a 1SS or 2SS in a year or two also as I drive over 30k miles a year and am racking up the miles on my new C6. So it was just a matter of deciding the order to get them in. Ended up with the C6 first since they were practically giving them away (got mine $11k off msrp and less than invoice) vs. Camaros at msrp or higher, wanted to avoid first year model Camaro blues, and waiting to see what the Z/28 has to offer.

Blonde or Brunette? Both will bring you satisfaction. Good luck with your decision!

The Camaro is a vette for half the price. I realize the two are probably night and day in performance, the vettes are everywhere while the Camaro is in short supply. I continue to get comments just about everyday. I even had a cop tell me he wishes he bought the Camaro instead of his new stock vette. A soccer mom stopped yesterday in the parking lot of a grocery store, rolled down her window and said "nice car". For right now its a thing of beauty.

Hold on, in your list, you have GTR....if you got the pocket book...i say Z06 ftw. And if you can get whatever....Zr1 FTW!
The Camaro is a great car, but you are going to see MANY by next year. If that matters to you Or you can wait and get a Z28 next year. Honestly i bought the Camaro and figured i would need the back seat ( couldve bought a nice C6) but i have realized that i rarely ever use the back seat. Your call, but if you have a good budget, then ZR1 or Z06 ftw.. |

Get the Camaro SS, Vette's are a dime a dozen. Don't get me wrong, Vette's are nice but they have become common. Or you could get a Challenger...

This might be heresy on a GM forum, but I just don't care for the looks of any corvette except the old Stingray.

I have the same problem choosing. I love the vette performance but love the camaro styling. I wish I could buy both!
