Do you already bought a new $1K+ exhaust just like that? You could've traded its for a stock one...

Flipstyle, it sounds to us like you must have some additional exhaust modifications because our systems usually have a pretty conservative volume. Do you know if your car has different headers, or if the catback has been changed at all?

I just discovered the exhaust is your axle-back race series (19184) for the SS Camaro. I am not the original owner of my ZL1 and it was installed on the car before I bought it. I'm attaching a few pictures so you can confirm.

Yikes! OP, definitely sounds like you need to go back to the stock NPP exhaust.
That single tip set up looks awfully inadequate for your ZL1.

I agree. I had a fellow member want to trade with me, but then we learned together that the exhaust setup I have was not what he had expected. I'm still torn though. I don't know if it would be more beneficial to buy the stock NPP, or buy a full aftermarket cat-back system... whole reason why I started this thread.

Hopefully your fascia is not melted from that mis-aligned tip. The magna-flow is made for a different rear fascia than the quad tip that is on your car.

Wow, no mufflers must be insanely loud. Ditch that right away and get another catback with mufflers.

In the works (Also, yes... the car drones pretty damn loud, but it sounds pretty impressive at WOT)... I should have a factory NPP exhaust on my car by the end of this weekend. Thanks to everyone who chimed in! Plenty of great info!
