It's a custom car. May have a 7.0L swap too. Either way, the guy who sold it to your buddy could have just blown smoke up his ass and your friend may not know any better. I don't fault your buddy, he's just not a genuine Camaro guy.

Nothing wrong with that. I'd like to see some pics of the car, cause I'm curious. Not a huge transformer fan either, I think transformer badges on Camaros are tacky as hell, but to each their own.

i thought the one in the movie had a more aggressive look then the package came with.

There was a pre production Camaro LS7 Concept, but it was in Victory Red. The only production Camaro I know of that got the NA LS7 was the 5th gen z28... that being said GM does offer a LS7 crate motor for sale.

#1. The movie car was painted Sunset Gold, not Rally Yellow.
The front was like a ZL1.

There was a member here, from Germany, IIRC, ~2011, who spent tons of money to take the car apart for a paint. He had everything done to make it just like the movie car.

Search is failing me here. No surprise.
