I had my tuner go a little more agressive with backing down torque management than my previous tune. Trust me when I tell you that you dont want torque management removed completely. My car seriously feels like it wants to rip in half on down shifts. Im going to add some back next week.
As far as tuning for different modes, you can change the transmission properties for D and M seperately and you wont really notice the TM because shifting is so smooth in D. |

My Dyno numbers before were 319hp/331tq. Kooks LTH hi flow cats and a Corsa catback were installed. Afterward the Dyno numbers are 355hp/365tq. That is on a Mustang Dyno which is more conservative than some others. My Dyno charts are on the L99 Dyno thread. Mike Hornbeck in the tuner. Super knowledgeable and a great guy. Check out their website for more info. |

Can anyone please tell me what these tuners are actually doing to these engines and how long it takes?
Sounds like everyone is getting great results..... just makes me curious |

Well your about an hour away from st louis correct?
If your looking for a tune I suggest Performance by Joe. Most tune shops will have you in and out in a few hours. I was seriously there from 9am till about 4pm with him going over everything. He charges $400 which is pretty good for the amount of work you get from him. What I liked is that its just him at his shop and he explains things to you and is always asking for feedback on how you want the car to be set. |

Thats my experience also. That is why I said if you want it totally off it has to be off in all modes. I tried different percentages on and got "double shifts" as the TM was trying to come on. The best setup I've tested is TM all off with 200 PSI going to the shifts.
