36k private sale....yea, no never

You've seen this documented by GM as a recall? The 2013 MyLink works perfectly with the HUD to my knowledge, though there are known BT issues. You most likely had a random bad unit.
Same here. I bought my 13 brand new in Aug 12 and have had zero issues with the Mylink.

I think it's a good deal. Check the car out and look for signs of abuse or improper maintenance. Otherwise, the higher mileage saves you about $8-10K over a low mileage ZL1.

There is a convenience of purchasing "locally" and at the end of the day, 30k is "in the ballpark". I'd offer him 27k if it was me, but I'd have absolutely no hesitation taking 4 days off, purchasing one out of state and driving it back. Ultimately, if you are happy with the vehicle, color and options are exactly what you want and you are happy with the purchase price, then that is the only thing that matters. Do your standard check list; Carfax and pay a local dealer one of their 300 point inspections or something and if you're still satisfied, take it home and enjoy the crap out of it.

Exactly! Even at $30K, it's not a bad deal if it has been well taken care of. Condition of the vehicle and vehicle history should be top priority.

Like others have said, mileage is not a major concern if the car is taken care of. My 2015 has 16k and is my daily driver. My drive to work is 12 miles each way (highway) and running the kids back and forth to school for sports 8 miles each way daily, rural driving. So miles add up. I wash my car usually 3-4 times a week and wax it at least 4 times a year. I had Expel installed on the entire front, mirrors and gills and it still looks like new. If the car is taken care, I would not be concerned with mileage. To many people think these cars are collector cars and should not be driven. They are meant to be driven not garage queens. It's not like the ZL1 is a MacLaren. Heck, my 2015 GMC 3/4 ton diesel cost a lot more than my ZL1 did and it gets worked to death all the time.

Thanks for all the advice, everything checked out so I ended up getting it. Only negative thing were the chips on the gills and lower rear front fenders, not to noticeable on the metallic blue ray.

Glad you got the car...Take a black permanent marker and cover the chips with it...No one will ever notice, and if they do tell them to get the hell back cause their to close to your baby...lol
