Are you saying 245's are skinnier than 225's?? Or use existing front rim, get another matching set, put 245 winters on those? I'm confused.

If the 18's do fit, isn't that much better???

I've got 18's from tire rack on my 2SS right now. They fit great.

The wheels I got were closout specials though (Sport Tuning or something) and they don't have them on the site now so I guess they sold out of them.

They clear the brembos about the same as the stock 16's clear the brakes on my 99 Z28.

So Taxman, were you able to get out and test the SS in the snow last week? Wasn't it PA that got hammered?

Last weeks snow is why I put them on already. WE didn't get snow here though, it stopped a few miles north of here. But with the Pirelli's on the car the 35 degrees and rain might as well have been snow.

Yeah, our weather sucked here too, but no snow thankfully because I'm not prepared. It's good to know that the 18's fit. I have two possibilities right now, the Goodyear Ultra Grip 225/60R18 with either Sport Edition or Moda rims at $1,442 and $1,462 respectively. Doesn't sound too bad.

I got the 225/60/18 eagle ultragrip gw3's. Wheels and tires came to $1260 before taxes and shipping.

After putting in the car information click on winter. you'll see 2 links on the next page, 1 for 18 tire and wheel packages and one for 20's.

right get another set of fronts, use them all the way around. this way, you don't mess up brand new nice looking wheels in the salt and bad stuff on the roads. just don't use the 275's. the 245 blizzaks work great! my father has them on his winter wheels for his 05 ctsv
