I always have liked the pre-pro reverse lights, only because they remind me of the '67-'68, plus they are simple.

Wow, I just noticed now that you mention it, the reverse lights do look like the 67-68's. Overall, I'd say with the exception of the nose and gill slits on the rear quarters, the new Camaro is based more off of the 67-68's body-wise.

I'll smoke them as well as the tailights and get aftermarket halos if they aren't a factory option. I'm pumped about the new car i've had 2 lt1 cars and 3 ls1's but I was just 16 in 02 so i've never got to buy a new camaro. This car is gonna be sick!

i definately threw up in my mouth a little when i saw that.

The taillights that are on the 2010 camaro, are one of my favorite things about the car, one of the things that made me fall in love with camaro all over again.

I agree - I really like the tail lights on the car already. And I actually like the new back end (from the silver SS) better than the old back end (from the concept) - more dynamic. Thats just my .02 though.

ehhh, I myself want the afterburners so bad....I believe this would be difficult or even impossible with the reverse lights inside the tail lamps. I will even sacrifice my hatred for the reverse lights to GET afterburners that are shown on the concept

I just think they should bring the reverse lights in tight towards the license plate and perpendicular to ground...much like the Crown Vic but slim, small and tight like the lights that are on it now.

Most complain they look like Corvette tail lights, but in the end, Camaro has had Corvette tail lights in the early seventies. But EVEN THEN, they are most based off of the 67-68 tail lights moreso than the 69's. See:
