They are prolly just worn out. The accident may have tweaked them as well. The movement is normal, the noise isnt. You may just need new mounts.

You can check gmpartsdirect. They have an easy to use catalog. I can look later when I get home from work.

I am not sure where the squeak comes from. Mix us some very soapy water using dish washing soap. Spray the under side of the mount. Does the squeak go away? If not, try the same test on the top side. |

Here you guys.
One thing I forgot is that the video you watched earlier was with the car in the air AND the wheels off. Lol. I just went out to my car on lunch break and made a different video. Obviously, wheels on and the car on the ground. Sound better? https://youtu.be/AZC9IMikI-o Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Do you hear the sound when turning to the right? It's like the rack is gasping for air. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Have you filled the reservoir and bled the rack?

Put some clean card board under the rack too. Check and see if it is actually causing drips. When you hold the steering wheel and have the rack against the stops, the rack build more pressure than normal driving down the road. Make sure the rack is clean and dry before you start. We'll see what we see. |
