Not really. The BTR 1,2,3 work fine with the stock converter. As well as my cam. Most will need an idle around 750 to stay running. Idle that high does push a little bit against braking. I had a BTR1 in mine. It required 750 as well. Call brian tooley and have all your questions answered by him. Nice guy, knows cams.

Oh you must be referring to the secret JRE quiet cam. It is harder to find than the specs on LT1z's cams. It is not even listed on Ted's webpage.

We are only allowed to talk about his rough idle camshaft not the quiet cam. He might be able to sell you one but don't tell him I was the one who told you

Leaning towards gp tuning after reading up on ctsv forums..lots of good info on 2.0 and 2.5's.Like to hear from people that are actually using the different cams for a better input..this will take a bit of research to decide which one to use with the automatic.
