I just bought the same Vinyl today, Im not sure how to remove that center silver console piece. Do you just carefully pry it off or what?

pry it off with fingers start from the end (near the shift pattern).
real easy.

I attempted putting my vinyl on my console tonight and I failed. It kept creasing on me really bad on the curves. Not sure what i'm gonna go for now. Any Ideas, I just hate the original silver color.
