my little center console mod (w/carbon fiber vinyls)
last night I spent about an hour to warp some carbon fiber vinyl over the center console piece. it turned out pretty nice.

Man that looks really nice. Just as nice as that hydrocarbon stuff. How did you get it to wrap so smooth without any wrinkles?

I think hydrocarbon stuff are nice, but this carbon-like vinyl mod cost me less than 20 bucks. you'll need a lot of time and a hair dryer... by heating up the vinyl with a hair dryer, the vinyl will be come very stretchable.. it will go over curves and edges. it is pretty impressive  its my first time doing this. more pix: |
