We already have all the dream Z28s we could want. I'd just like to see the real thing.

we have what OP's consider the dream z28 in their polls. but I figured the best way to get feed back is to have a full thread where you can explain it how you truly want it.

I'm fully aware of the intention, but we've had a lot of discussion on the topic. General consensus points to a limited list of shared components for any Z28:
• thoroughly upgraded racing suspension
• different, aggressive front fascia from existing models
• unique wheels (either 5-spoke or similar to ZR1)
• Z28 badges and interior stitching with a unique interior package
• availability as a convertible
• availability as automatic or manual transmission
• quantifiable performance results similar to or higher than SS
• GMPP options for personalization
• strong aftermarket for additional parts

In addition to the aspects of the car that have been established, Camaro enthusiasts as a community have narrowed down the favorable options for a power source to a few good candidates listed in order of my preference:
• twin turbo LLT-sourced V6 featuring high-performance internals
• as yet unreleased next generation DI V8
• LSA
• LS9 (a better candidate for a ZL1 if produced)
• LS7 (highly unlikely idea but lots of people really like this idea)

Aside from this list of features and options, there's very little that has not been discussed for production.

that's all I want.
Very nice.
And actually...very realistic (minus the race-clutch). Would you consider Leno's car to have a mean look?

Care to hear my dream?
