I like a nice sound system. This saturn is sorely lacking. I don't know about the quality of any brands, but I know what watts are, and I know that subs are nice.

I will no longer consider the aftermarket for my sound system. This is way better than I anticipated. This may be one of the very few options I select from GM.

I guess it all depends on pricing. How much the LT costs, base, and how much the RS package costs, and whether I have to add the leather or if its standard. I'm shooting for 23k, but 25k is my absolute limit, and an optional sound is the very very first thing to go ('course, its also the only thing to go. If the other parts tally to above my total price, I'll just wait a little while longer and save up a little more).

I believe Dragon is right, but most 6.5's nowadays have 1" tweeters attached.

That's cheating. I could've said I had 10 speakers in my Cobalt if I counted the small ones on my big ones. It shouldn't count unless they have to wire it separately.

Either way, this system is going to be amazing.

It really isn't, but an amp upgrade is really easy to do. If you get the system and sell the amp for say $80, you can buy one for $200 that is really really good and you'll have a great system with more power to run it.

Amazing head units a few years back were 45 x 4 pre outs.

That's 180 watts. 245 is from the head unit. Add an amplifier and you'll have all the power you need (unles you're running competition set ups).

I thought they threw a small amp in somewhere. I was expecting to swap or something. This blows my mind. GM outdid themselves here for sure!
