Never good to assume another person's motive or situation in life. Maybe parking next to you gives him/her a happy little dose of Camaro while saving for their own. How many of us went to dealer lots just to get another look at the car knowing we weren't buying that day, or already waiting for our order? *raises hand*

No dings tells me the person respects your car... can't ask for more than that.

OMG, I thought I was the only one who saw a black 2SS at the dealer and said "could I just sit in it? I'm not going to buy one" then a 2 week later, I orderd mine.

I don't know why people can't park. I was at walmart today, and there's a nice black Silverado next to me, and it's parked sideways-into the other spot. Guy next to him is parked sideways too. So i come out, and the Silverado is gone, and another goof has parked the same way. Are they trying to get dings in their vehicle?

i had a 2000 ws6 T/A in high school and had this happen... so the next day i borrowed an old truck and left a few dings in the some the idiots who parked around me the previous day...

big vehicle has big turning radious, trying to turn into too narrow a space while avoiding car comming from opposite direction that ignored the painted traffic direction arrows?

to the OP:
I used to be one of those "assclowns" that had the crappy car that would park next to the nice cars, im sure people were pissed now that i read threads like this and had i known their attitude problem then i would have never bothered to go out of my way to protect their car. Wow, and it may not have looked like it to others but i loved my baby it was a horrible to most ( but not me) looking 2nd gen. I parked that baby everywhere and never cared about dents, guess how many times i came out to find dents on my car.......3 times in its life and that car has been everywhere.

don't stress over your baby, you bought it knowing you lived in an appartment complex and could get dammaged. There are alot of so-called crappy car owners that love their crappy cars and do the best they can with them and do care about others property. If yoru really worried about your baby, make friends with the 4runner driver and get on his good side, be socially proactive, tell him you'll both keep an eye out for each others rides, and be friendly nto paranoid, it helps to make friends where you live, trustme i know.
