this is welcome info. exactly the combo i'm thinking (except LS3) with real comments!

Well I had a cam, heads, cai, and the kooks system on so I can't say it's not loud.Lol. But what I can tell you is that there is no drone on highway speeds, now I'm going F/I and it still sounds great

I cannot tell a lie....it does drone a bit at cruising speed UNDER 2000..I only noticed it in 6th gear at lower rpm...you may want the corsa if this is gonna be an issue....but I gotta tell ya with your foot in it..the sound is Pure Bad Assery!

I have kooks long tubes full exhaust and it sounds nice at idle, not too loud, and at cruising speed only slight drone at certain RPM's but not where I normally drive at. It is louder than stock exhaust in the cabin but I am happy with it, no complaints from the wife on it being too loud. This is on L99 with AFM turned off, supercharger and CAI.

I would say install the Kooks header with connection pipes, and leave the stock exhaust on, and see how you like it. There are systems out there that won't drone, but the pop on decel will be a problem for many aftermarket systems. That is why I recommend the cautious approach. Some people add just headers and like the sound with the stock catback. The other option would be to put DMH cutouts on the stock exhaust..then you could have quiet when you want, and wild when you want for much less than buying cutouts. If you have any questions, PM me your number, I would be glad to help you out.

No drone with longtubes and Corsa, but there are decel pops. More then in my Borla "s" and longtubes setup.
