Any Complete Kooks Systems? or Kooks/Corsa?

here's my dilema........

i want performance with some snarl, wife wants rumble too but unlike our current muffler delete - NO DRONE AT CRUISING SPEEDS OR DECEL POP!

so after researching here's my two options:

1 - Kooks long tube headers with cats and Corsa catback?

2 - Kooks long tube headers with cats and Kooks catback?

Corsa claims to have tuned out the drone, yet have good rumble. but i hear nothing about the Kooks complete system.........

anyone have either of these and care to weigh in?

nobody near me that i'm aware of have done anything other than muffler delete. and yes.......i'm aware ditching the wife will resolve this issue. but truth is i kinda dig her and it is HER car...

Magnaflow/ARH

I'd go with either the Kooks or ARH Short System with converters and the Magnaflow 16483. This combination is AWESOME! No drone and the sound is sweet! I wish I had a sound clip right now but I don't. It's a bolt-in install. You can go with 1 3/4" or 1 7/8" primaries depending on your performance goals.

If you're interest or have any questions please let me know!

Kind regards,

i had Mangnaflows on my 05 Silverado cat-back...........hated them. the higher the RPM's the more screaming they did. no low rumble......and Flowmasters aren't much better than muffler delete.......in my opinion.

maybe i got a bad set.......

Either one or the other if you have an L99. Or get AFM tuned out for both.

I basically had the same system on my Yukon XL and it was BAD! Magnaflow did change the muffler and the sound quality was improved and it has a smooth deep tone now.

With the Camaro I haven't had any issues. There is a reason Magnaflow is the #1 exhaust manufacture!

Kind regards,

I have an A6 L99 with LT Kooks/Hi flo cats/Corsa catback.
You can be cruising at 70 mph and hear nothing at all, until you step on it. The harder you accelerate the louder it gets. You will definitely turn some heads with it. No drone at any speed. I am very happy with it.

Its sounds good at idle or wot but otherwise I want to rip it off. For the record the car is an L99 without the AFM and its 1 3/4.
this is what i need to know.........thank you!!!! wife and i take trips in summer. 500 miles listening to BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

trying to avoid!
