I wouldn't buy a Cobra or a Bel used to sell them and they had a huge return rate. They were falsing all the time and not going off when they needed to. Waste of money IMO the V1 are awesome and so are the K40 I have ran the K40 RD850 on dash runs $299.99 and if you get a ticket with theirs they pay the ticket. Then you can go crazy with their stealth unit but its pricey around $2000.00 installed with the laser diffuser .

In my opinion the red light camera option is useless in a device that doesn't auto update. What happens if they install a new Camera 2 weeks later? Your device is frozen in time from the date they updated the software.

If you have a smartphone, just get "Trapster" and never worry about them again. I use my new Droid with Trapster, and I plan on getting a V1 soon.

Escort Passport 8500 has saved my nuts numerous times. I'll upgrade to 9500ix when I get my beast.
