I'll be watching this thread for sure!
I Know I was not crazy about it but it sure is secure and easy to remove.

The 4 tabs are bolted through the spare tire cover, and there are only 4 little slits for the tabs in the carpet.

Meth works on any engine. Works wonders on forced induction but still see gains with N/A.

The Coolingmist looks very similar to Snow Performance. What kind of controller comes with it ? Thanks.

BTW, If anyone questions the validity of alcohol/water injection, it has been in use since W.W.II. FWIW - Google "David Viazrd Water Injection" to find some articles. He has done exhaustive testing in this area.

Yes it will work with supercharged LS3s and anything else that is boosted.

The Gauge in the first picture is the controller and it is loaded with features.

Does it have a safety interlock that if the meth runs out it keeps the boost down to avoid detonation?

It does have that feature but we must add a solinoid to open the bypass.

Optional.

If you run out of Meth can you substitute a bottle of Wild Turkey mixed with chew spit?

From the Horse- something to consider. Start from the bottom.

Mike,
The methanol injection would wear the rotor coating off a little on our 4th gen rotor packs, but our newer 5th and 6th gen rotors have a different coating and seem to hold up better then the older rotor packs. I talked to my sales manager and was told it would void the warrenty.

Simmon, I am guesing there is no harm to the finish on the blower and using meth does not void your warranty?

If you're dishing out 6K+ I wouldn't risk it getting my warranty voided. Then again there are some die hard speed junkies that would like the xtra 40+HP gains

I would risk it. I am one who likes the whole story- so asked the Horse. Doesn't change how if I would do it or not cuz I am a speed junkie, so I would be one to do it.

I want to see Physical Proof!

All Blowers are easily capable in dealing with all kinds of fuels.

Methanol passes through the blower as a GAS not a liquid and it is NOT SAND it's fuel.

So I guess everyone has to take they're carburators off they're blowers then eehh

Magnason I looking for a reason to void warrantees just like every other manufactuerer.

Guys, this is an old argument that has failed time and time again.

Something else to consider, We Spary Meth and NOS through turbo chargers also without Issue.

Ted.

However I would have to disagree on the more water = more cooling idea...ever spill methanol on ur skin by accident...cold huh? Save your time and money and spray 100% methanol. just becareful of rising egt's. since its a higher octane you can run leaner with more timing....but methanol has a much richer stoich ratio which means you will actually be running chemically leaner than what your wideband may be reading. And this in turn can cause high egt's. AND NEVER LET IT RUN OUT.
Here is a quote from one manufacturer: "Performance: Water absorbs twice as much heat as methanol in the intake and inside the combustion chamber." also "The water provides the primary cooling effect due to its great density and high heat absorption properties.".

It has been discussed before on other forums and adding more water cools better and adding more meth increases octane.
