Yes it will pop, blurble or whatever you want to call it, when you come off the throttle. If you have an A6, when the AFM kicks in- It will sound like a ricer!
As many have stated, sound is subjective. I for one, didn't like the Muffler delete, thought it sounded ghetto, cheap, like a cut the muffler off... oh wait, I did. The above is only my opinion, your's may differ and that's ok.

What if I get a Magnaflow x-pipe and remove the mufflers? I've watched a couple videos of it on YouTube and it sounds way better than many axle-back exhausts.
And to BLACK10: Is this your car in this video? Because it sounds amazing and if it is your car, I'd like to know what x-pipe you used.

Alright, I finally made up my mind and decided to go with a Magnaflow x-pipe and replace the mufflers with straight pipes.
Does anyone have any videos of it on YouTube? I wanna hear it over and over again. And thanks BLACK10 for everything.

What is the difference between Magnaflow 12569 and 10791 as far as sound and performance? Thanks

Muffler delete gave me the perfect sound...and I mean perfect! The only issue is the popping on decel. It's annoying most times. It's possible to tune most of it out, but not all. Here are few videos of mine.
