You should listen to them in person before making such a harsh judgment. I ordered the SW cat-back because it sounds amazing. I hate that low, bassy tone where the engine sounds muffled and choked up. The SW cat-back is very aggressive but still very clean and crisp. Great system.

In person the sound is Just plain in your Freaking Face Intimidating. Very, very race like.....the way these cars outta sound to begin with. I get goose bumps just thinking about it under wot.

This System is DEFINITELY not for the faint of Heart tho..........If you want just plain "Wicked" go with Stainless Works.

Contact Bill@Stainless. He is a member here. He will take care of you. I have had extremely good customer service from them and I am one picky SOB!!!!!

ya i dont know what hes talking about... SW uses a 304 Stainless Metal unlike Magnaflow who uses a 400 series metal... the SW actually sound great.

The SLP full exhaust (headers/Hi-Flow cats/X-Pipe/Full 3" Loudmouth) which has no mufflers actually seems to be quiter than the SW that has the mufflers?? Listened to several vids of both and the SW definitely sounds louder at idle and at WOT.

really? you have a MUSCLE CAR, not a tuner!

low and bassy = V8 Muscle

clean and crisp = coffee can tuner 4 cylinder BRAPPPP

to each their own, but if you don't like the way a muscle car supposed to sound........you got the wrong car!

Not sure what desmo is on, but I love my SW cat-back. I've gotten nothing but positive feedback.

In response to OP's question, I'm not sure coating is needed on LT headers to keep temps down. I don't think other LTs have coating, do they>

A ceramic coating is applied to the LTH to insulate them to retain the heat. Otherwise the heat radiates in the engine compartment raising the ambient air temperature. Most LTH companies offer a ceramic coating option for more $$.

Not at all, low and bassy sounds like a corked up glass paked mullet mobile. Crisp, clean and raw sounds like a badass car that is set on kill. I have never heard a crisp and clean ricer. I guess Corsa and Stainless works are cornering the wrong market, they should stick to imports.

ok.. remember SW carries two types of mufflers for their system. The Chambered and S-type. You had to have hurd the chambered muffler, because the S-type is loud.

No offense to member piensky but that sounds absolutely terrible.

However, The sound on that video ..... is like comparing sweet, little, warm milk drinking Kittens -to- Rip your arms Outta Freakin Socket, Bone crushing Gorillas.

The Stainless Works long Tube headers w/ full catback exhaust and S-turbo Mufflers tied to an LS3 is entirely a different Monster.

Just one "Sweet Symphony-O-Bad F#cking Ass-ness"

OP if you want an Very Intimidating System for your Camaro, do yourself a favor and listen to Stainless Works Full System in person.

These videos do it no justice .

The video you linked above is a V6 - which is a totally different sound all together.

As brownstone said - The SW v8 system will knock your socks off!
