I have it also, probably the only thing I do not like about the car. Would be nice if a fix turns up.

I think you hit the nail on the head. 2-piece drive shaft slack. I hear this every time I pull into my garage. The driveway and garage are quite narrow with an uphill grade. I need to power up the driveway, then disengage the clutch in order to coast into the garage. I do this to avoid riding the clutch through the whole parking process. I get quite an audible clunk when I quickly step on the clutch pedal.

I have the same noise, which the dealership tells me is normal behavior. I also get it in 2nd gear too when driving slow. Seems worse when decellerating than when revs are steady or accellerating slightly.

It is normal and happens on many other cars, not just the Camaro. When you depress the clutch you release all the torque on the driveline and it will shake and rattle a bit. It only occurs under the conditions mentioned above when driving slowly.
