The piston bores need to be enlarged.

Is that what they refer to as bored .030 over? Is that something any engine shop can do?

i dont think its bored out stock bore is 4.06 . 4" stroke increases cubic inches to 416 or so.

D'oh!

Sorry, you're right. I've got 6.0 numbers in my head, not 6.2.

ls3 and l99 factory bore is 4.065",, i started with a brand new L92/Ls3 block with a 4.065" bore and just got a set of 4.065 pistons,, the engine did not have to be bored at all,, just honed to get the proper piston clearance

Torque is what launches the car and with that graph as long as the car hooks I expect it would beat most higher HP cars in the 1/4 mile. Nice!

some very minor clearance at the bottom of the cylinders, with forged eagle crank and eagle h-beam rods

That's what I thought. Couldn't have been too easy.

Very nice numbers!

Is there any other mods that have to be done to achieve these #'s. Just install crank? Already have your G6X3 cam and headers.

A good tune, a good 1 3/4 or 1 7/8 header system, sans cats, 100mm or larger cold air, FULL 3" exhaust ( no neck downs) good compression ( 11.5 or better) and quality gas ( 93+)

This setup left nothing to spare in all of the little 2-5 hp mods. Everything adds up, and this is a perfect example of everything adding up, adding an extra 25 HP over a standard issue build!
