then you should just follow the owner's manual for setting up your bluetooth..
looks like from the instructions it is pretty easy. but I don't have it so i can't try it out.

Hey guys, I have the same problem. I do have a 2SS and i can pair my Ihpone via bluetooth to hear music. Just like the manual says...but there are no "phone settings" in the config-menu. Where is the failure?Please help me and a lot of my german camaro-friends with similar problems..

cemos, I have a Blackberry and not an iphone, but check this. The Blackberry has a setting that will allow the Blackberry to operate in a bluetooth phone mode or music mode or both. Check your Bluetooth settings and make sure that you have it all enabled correctly. That doesn't however explain why you don't see the "phone settings" in your menu though.

I think you have to hit the phone button on the stearing wheel and when it comes up say blootooth, pair and it will guide you through the process.

. . .or something like that. I use my phone blutooth all the time and I have a 2SS/RS.

When I hit the phonebutton in the dash..it simply mutes..when i hit it in the steering wheel, nothing happens. No acustic signal or something. And as I said, there are no phone settings when i press config. Just date, radio an car configuration.

When I search bluetooth devices via Iphone, it always only finds GmConnet Music.

When I push the upper half of the phone button on the stearing wheel the car say ready. At that point I say Bluetooth and then pair. If yours isn't doing this I would say you either don't have the capability or there is an issue.

I am the other way though. I don't seem to be able to pair the phone bluetooth for music. Wonder if you can only do one or the other??

Ask your dealer. My 2SS came with a separate piece of paper in the glove box that looked like they printed it off or xeroxed it. It covered On-Star and Bluetooth all on one sheet of paper. I will try to scan it in tomorrow and post it on here.
