There is not as much variance as has been talked about, I dynoed 8 all stock LS3s Low was 372 high was 377 this is on all different days.

I also Dynoed 3 All Stock L99s Low was 333 high was 338.

5 HP between 11 vehicles is Pretty darn consistant, Bravo GM.

If there are a big varience from Dyno to Dyno, then there are 3 possibilities, Operator Error, Dyno Calibration or Both.

Just because someone Owns a Dyno Does Not mean they Know How to Use it.

I have been using Dynomometers since 1983 so I have made all the mistakes a long time ago that others are just learning now.

Ted.

it's like all other devices for measuring different inputs to 'calculate' age/or fitness. A lot of these devices, you tell it your height and weight and it tells you how much bodyfat % you have (or scales that do this). Just to prove how accurate these things are, let me give an example of myself.

Strongman/Powerlifter/Trainer- competitor. Wt: 220 lbs Ht: 5'9 (50" chest, 34" waist). These meters tell me that I'm about 30% fat. When taking measurement via calipers.. I'm 9-10%. I'm sure the Wii would tell me the same 30% bf. What's worse, they put this crap in my file at work. If you don't know me, you would think I was some fat slob.

So you are probably 34 years old in real life, based on the Wii anyone working on muscle cars and enjoying their job, is definitely staying young (at heart).

So are you going to do the test of the shorties janetty? I to want to again say thank you for providing the tests of tha CAI's. I had a hard time at first with the sheet but figured it out and realized just how helpful it really is. I'm sure everyone really wants to see what the shorties really do for performance.

I have just secured a Car for Testing of Long Tube Headers I will be very Easy to Also Do the Shorties, if we can get the companies to donate the headers for the Shootout.

We are releasing a very affordable new shorty design. Main difference between the new version and the current is material. It is still stainless. Just 400 series instead of 300 series. I will update you guys as soon as it is ready to go.

That used to be great... but as an old Moto X r and barefoot waterskier at the age of 49 I now feel 65....( Ready for retirement so I have more time to wrench on my cars ! )

When I was 35 I felt 21....Go Figure.

So all you young guys/Gals, look out...it will catch up to you sooner or later.

I still wouldn't change a thing. Live while you can.

Don't even want to know what the wii says....

Hello Chris. I really like the Borla shorties. I see your headers are only 1 5/8" tubing where as some of your competitors are 1 3/4". The general consensus here is that 1 5/8" is too small and restrictive with a 376 CID engine and is better suited for 305/302's. What is your opinion on that?
