Drivers Side AC warm - 2010 SS, not climate contoll car?

Little Fallow up. The system was low on refrigerant. As it turns out the the leak is coming from the evaporator core... SO they have to remove the dash and windshield and all that fun stuff to replace the core. On a side note, they can check the blend door and replace it if its got any damage to it. The extended warranty is covering the cost of the repaid so I am feeling good about this deal. Thanks for the input/help - I was real fortunate that I still had a little time on this warranty!

You can't look at the door and tell if it's going to break. Do yourself a favor and pay for the door out of pocket.....they're cheap. The box has to be split to replace the evap anyway, and the door is right there! I replaced my door in 2014, and it's been fine ever since. If you go ahead and do it now, I doubt you will ever have a future problem.

Good Point. I called them and they were one step ahead of me. The service guy talked to the Mechanic and they decided to order one already and replace it while they were in there. Like you said, Not expensive and why not while its all tore down! Thanks for the advice though
