@silveradoss573 is correct.

Mecum posts the ‘out the door price’, hammer + buyers fee. Total was $104, not hammer and not $114k.

Yeah, i think i’ll hang on to mine. Its more fun driving it than seeing it die a slow death in a garage.

These are still reasonable. Cars are never a good investment but on paper these are arguably the rarest and most special of any Camaro of the last fifty years..once they are "discovered" look out. JMHO

^^ $104K is great! The black one should have sold for more IMHO. Still a bargain IMHO compared to equal cars.

(Mecum must've changed their policy without my approval! Nice cars are going for big money which is nice to see.)

I agree. I just bought my well sorted 2014 Z for 50k and you can't buy anything else with this all around high level performance for the money.

I have much more respect for someone who actually uses their car than someone who keeps it in the garage.

I agree

Just wait till it's a Halo car in a movie or some popular YouTube channel does a special on it kinda like how Savagegeese did one on the C6 Z06.

My kids will get mine anyway so what do I care about the value at this point.

Any $ they get for it if they choose to sell it at that time will just be icing on the cake. I'll be driving mine and modding it how I want it till I die!

It's still a great bargain compared to other track variety like GT350R/GT3RS/BMWMCS! About 500hp with NA, dry-sump, manual, racing gear and diet. Some don't have CCB option.

At this point, just get what you can afford and drive it. Regardless of miles, it's not going to depreciate a lot.

We need more of these YouTube videos and exposure of the car!
It would honestly make a sweet halo car or bad guy car in a hit movie. They look so menacing.

Anyone remember the movie "The Car" with James Brolin?

They should do a remake and make the Z28 The Car.

Awesome, great video. Thanks for sharing! Love his enthusiasm about all the things that make the Z/28 such a special car.
