I have a question. They tell you not to touch the power windows for at least 3-4 days after a professional tint job is done but that might be a problem with our car since the windows go down when the doors open and back up a little to seal once they're closed. Could this be an issue?

I asked them and they said they 'trick' the car to thinking the doors are shut all the time. I don't know if that is as simple as keeping a switched pressed in, or actually do something with the computer.

Wow that looks good but I'm not ballsy enough to get 15% here as the state legal limit is 32% and the closest film they manufacture is 35%. I think I'd probably be left alone by the law but I dont want my tint to be the "excuse" for a timely traffic stop after I've been out to eat or something with my GF and have had a couple rounds. Know what I mean?

Also have you considered smoked vinyl headlight armor for your tail-lights and side markers? I think it would look amazing on your ride.

I have 35% on the sides and 20% in the rear (with a Doc's note in Mi). I like it, visibility is one of the issues from the getgo in the camaro, so keeping the fronts a bit lighter was important to me.

However, if I was to do it again, I'd probably go all 20%. To be honest, you can't really tell the fronts are tinted from the outside, it just looks like it has a dark interior. But then again it will slightly affect your night vision.

Nice. I wonder if I could get away with 20% in the rear and 35% sides without attracting the police's attention? My friend has 5-10% in his Dodge Ram but I think he's left alone because its a very generic common vehicle totally stock otherwise.

How does that work? Doesn't the window need to go down a little in order for the door to open?

Dont worry about the windows going up and down that inch or so, they trick them into not going down when its opened, when they are applying it, past that, any good tint place if you see any problems pop up, you can take it in and they'll get them out, on mine though I didnt have an issue with them going up and down that little bit
