I have the CAI Inc. on my LS3 as well and I'm very pleased. As everyone knows it's very hard to decide which one is the best one. Ted's results helped me narrow it down but the deciding factor for me was the insulated airbox and it being enclosed from the engine compartment instead of using the hood insulation to seal it.

I feel the Halltech was a much better CAI which is why I run one. Both should be featured, along with several others, in the HT tuning software setup.

Its interesting that you finally got an email from Vararam on the same day you make a birthday thread needing an intake? You're # 44 on the Preorder list. Vararam wasn't up to # 44 yet? For us guys at 150+ on the preorder list, I can't even imagine how long its going to be. |

Halltech for my SS and my Z06. Do yourself a favor and go to the Katech website: http://www.katechengines.com/katech_inc/
They built the motors for the C5R and C6R until GM took it inhouse. See what they use - that should help you decide which one to choose.
