2ss Black on Black M6
|
I did a gloss black and the powder coat does an excellent job of hiding break dust and other grime. I sand blasted mine myself and had them coated for around $50 a piece and they turned out great. My only regret is that I should have blasted them with a milder abbrasive. I used regular sand at 60 psi and my blast profile ended up a little deep in one of the grooves between the up rights. It still looks great but I know it is there.

I do! MTI racing hooked me up.. Got their sway bars too.. Prolly the best improvement I've made on the car.. The handling difference was night and day.. No more body roll... 8)

How does the heat cycle for the powder coat affect the wheel? I was reading about this and read that the baking process used to cure the "paint" (powder) may adversly affect the temper in the wheel making it weaker.
