they gave me a tool to make sure it stayed fine.. it wont scratch but u might get air bubbles.. u need a wedge type thing to push down between the rubber and glass and push the bubbles out.. but it will be fine! just make sure there are no bubbles when u exit the car!

They will tell you not to roll down the windows for at least 24 after tint is applied. That being said they had to redo 1 on mine due to indexing. There all good now.

That's correct that's why one on my windows started to peel off and had to be re done.

I had a little problem with this. My first install everyting was great then I noticed a line of tiny bubbles prety much only visible from the outside. When had the door open the bubbes weren't visible. Only when I closed the door could I see them. I got the window re-done, but after a day the window tint began to wrinkle up on the back side of the window.Maybe he heated it too much or something I don't know. Got it re-done a week ago and everythings great now -but I did get in through the passnger door for a day and a half- haha. Well everything looks great now...went with 15%, credit to the shop for doing the re-does for free.

The shop i took mine to is far from a backyard shop. Further they re-tinted the window with no complaints as they stand behind there work 100%. As they explained to me any car with indexing could be a potential promblem as it takes at 24 hrs for the tint to completely cure.

Had mine done today. Installer is a good freind of ours.

When you get out of the car for the evening, take your finger or a screw driver and run it through the door latch groove on the door itself to trick the door into thinking it's closed and the window will go all the way up. leave it overnight and you should be good. Mine are open now. Just don't forget and slam the door before you pull out on the handle to reindex it. No fuse pull needed, window all the way up. Very simple.

A good installer will take the door panel off and do the whole window. It should not be an issue if done properly.

On a side note, I had no idea that the window slide thing was called indexing. It is a real pain in the ass when it is below freezing outside. The doors do not want to open and close properly and it scares the shite out of me every time I pull it open and the window doesn't "index".
