Without the blower it should be tuned between 12.5 to 13. I dont know if with the maggie your supposed to tune it a little richer but if it was in the 10 to 11 range, that is way too rich.

Maggies make about the same power at that boost. If you go with the CARB-legal kit, which requires the OEM air box, you should be right around 500 RWHP totally stock at like 6-7 psi (if I remember correctly) on an LS3-car. It seems as soon as a quality CAI is plumbed in, you're in the neighborhood of something like another 20 RWHP on top of that 500.

FWIW - both SCs use the same TVS rotors. What's going to be interesting is how everything pans out once the tune is locked in. I'm very interested in learning the benefits of those longer runners on this SC. Things are looking great right now though.

Grat job Edelbrock

Supercharger manufacturers always tune on the rich side since these systems are being installed on multiple vehicles wiht various mods. That being said, low 11's on the Air/fuel is about the morm for conservitive tuning. The E-Force LS3 kit makes 7.5psi and since Edelbrock is at sea level with fairly mild ambient temp and hum, correction factors don't really play much of a part. Usually less than 2-3%.

So basically the LS3 system on a rich conservitive safe tune makes over 600fwhp. Not bad considering!!! Check out:

Also, unless you're running race gas and low comp pistons, anything over high 11's on the air fuel would spell some SERIOUS damage to the pistons with detonation!!

I say crappy tune beacuse the air/fuel goes lean above 6000 rpms. When the MAF is dialed in properly you can command a 11.5 air fuel from 2000-7000 rpms.

I think it is awesome there is one on the dyno for a change to work with. I would say good tune and 7.5 pulley will end up being a great setup for 6k plus add cai headers and exhaust and you could be sitting at 550rwhp at 7.5 psi and 500-515whp auto with 7.5 psi or more for all we know but off to a good start!

thanks. Kinda new to the whole "tune" thing. Most the stuff I am accustomed to working on is old 60's and 70's muscle cars.

Yep, My bad. I was thinking the show was in PA, but it's at The Meadowlands.
The car belongs to Pat Musi, so I'm sure that it own't be stock for long. His new race car just ran 5.99@236 in 1/4!

I just went for a ride in this camaro and let me tell you that its pretty fast. The car idles like its stock but when you wanna haul.. you haul. This car was not professionally tuned it was done using the flash tuner. As far as i know you go too big with the pulley and you put too much boost and it will spit the rods out. There was nothing wrong with the clutch as far as i can see.
