What springs did you go with? How does it ride/handle? Do you still have the stock exhaust or did you do the muffler delete already? Depending on how good the muffler delete sounds I may not do the catback, not sure yet.

I have the itch to get at least one mod myself but for now I want things that won't void the warranty. Do you think an intake is safe for keeping it intact? My last car was modded pretty heavily and I dont want to affect the daily driveability of this one.

You guys are making me jealous! I love Savannah! I always come down there to vacation. Usually stay down town at the Mulberry one of the other spots there on Bay Street, though I have been know to stay on Tybee Island at the DeSoto Inn.
Always eat at Lady & Son's too. Anyway, my last trip down I was looking in the Pooler area to settle should I decide to relocate there. Nice to know there is already a following there. My nephew just signed with the Citadel to be their QB this fall so I hope to plan a road trip by way of Savannah this fall to watch him play. I know I can shoot over the bridge toward Burford and head on into Charleston, SC and check him out.

I actually live in Pooler; bought a house last May. Other than the old side of town by Hwy 80 it's decent and should have a lot more to offer in the next 5 years (building a Publix/Plaza, movie theater, new restaurants all the time) Quiet, only 12-15 minutes away from downtown, and cheaper real estate. Also I work about 10 minutes away which is great for keeping the miles off the Camaro

Also, just as a helpful tip. Use priceline for the hotels in Savannah. Once in a while when my GF go out to eat and hit the bars downtown we will plug in like $50-75 and 3 stars or 3.5 and usually get a room at the Mariott, Hyatt, or Doubletree (usually $200 a night and up). If you consider the Taxi ride is $30 plus tip back to Pooler, it's worth it to be able to walk back to a hotel.

Also congrats on your nephew's achievement! That's a pretty big deal.

Im running H&R springs. 1.6/1.4 puts the fenders right at 29" fron the ground. one of the biggest drops with just springs. I had discount muffler and brake on hwy 80 remove the mufflers for me. def the best cheap mod you can do. for under $100 he'll cut the mufflers off and reweld your tips back on. made a huge diff even with the cats still. i almost bought a loudmouth, glad i didnt. but with the kooks longtubes and no cats, it sure does sound mean.

I need to see pics with the springs on! I am thinking about ordering a Borla S catback because my friend can get me a good deal on one since he works at a parts distribution center up in the northeast, but still talking $1050 ish. I want it to sound good/deep rumble but not be too loud for daily driving use. How loud was the muffler delete only (without header?). Do you mean in Pooler or where? What's it near?

it was in garden city. I would do just the muffler delete. without headers it sounded mean, but still wasnt loud enough for me. it will pop and gurgle a little on decel, but not as noticable as with the headers. with headers it's just loud when u get into it. idle is still quiet on both, but you can still hear the engine unlike before. i'll try and get some video and pics tomorrow. I took some of it in the garage and ill see if they will load hold you over until i get good pics

Cool, let me know. I still might do the catback to help my friend out but if it sounds almost as good with the delete its tough to justify that much money honestly.

Its loud. just how i like it. has some drone when you have your foot into it at the right speed. but i like drone. idle is pretty quiet still, but wide open is just raw noise. Our meeting is this friday at 7pm at fudruckers. as long as the weather is good ill have it out. if not, then my 97 will join me.

Jamie tinted mine wedsday. Great job as usual. Its my 3rd vehicle he had done.
