We have found that the stock clutch holds up to the power, however, due to the lack of road time on a lot of these cars we have not tested longevity. The NJ winters are preventing any good fun in the months of February & March around here!
If I happened to have a video of the PTE 76mm billet on the street, and it so happened the car was next to a 10.5x street car and just took off left the 10.5x car in the dust, granny shifting, up to 55MPH.. IF I had the video it might look like this: TTP 5th Gen Turbo - 10PSI I would love to put a sumped tank in for the Camaro guys, but fact of the matter is it would require a ton of fabrication, moving the battery, and a whole in the factory trunk floor! I do tons of systems this way. Like the Mustang below. The plan for the Camaro is to make a NHRA approved structure around the fuel pump (It would be located outside the frame rails), mount the pump to the structure and then weld the structure to the vehicle. Worse case is that we have to grind down some welds & use some paint to return to stock. At least no holes in the floorboard though and no matter what it needs a cage. There are a few companies around that sell fuel systems that run outside of the frame rails in vettes, NO GOOD!!! |

Matt you need to bring your car down here to Florida to 'test' it out some more. ;0)
Sounds like you have a good idea mounting it externally. Look forward to seeing some vids in the future. |

I noticed in the video you were blowing a lot of smoke on decel. Is there a problem with the drain backing up?

matt if you dont use headers then what do you use? the stock exhaust?
I hate to loose the sound of headers. I love it. You say the stock engine cant handle the 76 mm turbo but what if you lower the psi to a safer level? or would it be smarter to just get the 62 mm and a cam?

Oh I'm not saying don't do the 76 on the stock motor. To be honest all the builds we have spec'd recently except 2 have been 76's all on stock motors. They are just not as quick to spool as the 62, however, they don't run out of steam like the 62's...
Running a 62 with a sweet sounding cam would be nice... Or just do the 76 and the cam To be honest, we do sell a lot of cam packages with the turbos as a compliment. The cam is a great addition, but the valvesprings, pushrods, and oil pump are all very nice safety items for the turbo... And if you are in there anyways, why not change the bumpstick! We do use the stock manifolds, but I can guarantee our system is very loud & deep. We are using all 3" tubing, and the turbo does have a great volume of air. Tony, if you do get a chance please come on down. We have the prototype car here and as we slack doing the fuel system (As there is so much client related work to be done first) it's still running. It does have a massive cam, but it gives you a decent sound of exhaust. As per doing a set of headers that would be a sufficient gain, there just is not enough room in the stock form on these cars to get it done. They would have to be very short primaries, if it could be done. We prefer using the stock manifolds for the backpressure, it does help spool the turbo up.. And like you guys see we have cleared the 900+ btq using stock manis... Can't wait to see quad digit numbers with the 88 on some real boost ![]() thunderwagon: All fixed... We actually had to put an oil restrictor into the line. Unfortunately we were time constrained on the build to make a media showing with it, that I boofed ordering the -4 TFE line for d-day and we ended up using a -3 line. I only had a -4 oil restrictor in stock, so we knew the big PSI on the top end would blew right through. Then after the media, it had to be taken out for a quick romp before brought back down for more R&D ![]() For the winter hours, we are open to the public Tuesday through Friday 10AM-6PM EST, we are closed Monday's for internal R&D & catchup work. - Matt |

So are you just using a -3 line or is there a restrictor also? I know with the setup on my truck I had to use a -3 with a restrictor after I went to a high volume pump.

We are running a -4 with a -4 oil restrictor. Depending on the use of stock pump vs hi-flow it depends on the size of the machined restrictor hole! We knew the issue was evident but it was sunny (Really cold) and had to try er out a bit ...

Do you provide the exhaust manifold? especially since I have headers on my car now? My goal is to reach 600 hp at the wheel. I dont want it to drop off as soon as it hits it either.
