Why don't you just drive it normal instead of lugging it? Lugging any motor is not good for the motor and the tranny.

im sure im preaching to the choir on this, but MPG with AFM depends on driving style even more than a car with out it as far as variation between the librarians gas mileage and the 19 year old.

in my car i can get 23 (50% city, 50 hwy) but if i have a little more, fun, i can get 18 going the same route, and this is still not drive allll that harshly.

There is a local tune place that said that if I just wanted them to tune out the AFM they'd do it for $20. From what I've ready AFM really doesn't help the fuel economy anyway. I might do it, but I'm worried it will void my warranty.
