Booooosted.

![]() Ok, Ok. Just kidding. At this point I'd take it to a detailer. Don't want to make it worse. Ask the guy putting the clear bra on about it. He should be able to guide you. |

scratch and swirl remover and use a machine polisher with the orange color pad for minor cutting. It will take care of it easily. Did you use 2000 grit and made sure it was wet?

Scratch X isn't going to touch that. Scatch X or similar will be your last step. You need to work your way down in abrasives and end up at a swirl mark remover.
Start with the finest autobody wet sand paper you can get, 2000 grit. very very lightly wet sand that small area. Don't make the area bigger. From the looks of the pic, I would do some more wet sanding. It needs to look evenly dull. Then when the blemishes are gone and it is an even dull spot - switch to compounds. A machine is better but takes practice and skill. By hand it will take tons of elbow grease. An auto body supply store can help you pick the compounds. I like using 3M fine, but there are many different brands. Just don't go too course or you'll be adding more scratches. If the fine doesn't take out the sanding marks, go 1 step courser to a medium, then down to the fine, and then a swirl mark remover. I've had good luck taking out wet sanding marks with 3M fine using a random orbit buffer, and then switching to 3M swirl mark remover for dark cars with the buffer, then by hand, then polish/wax. |

As far as clear bra goes:
You really shouldn't put anything overtop of fresh paint. It needs a good week or 2 to cure. Or at least that's what I was told. My body guy said the paint can release gasses as it cures for up to a month, and it won't cure properly if it is covered. |

Wow just wow using a 2010 camaro as a test mule for wet sanding
Talk about a brain fart. Dude in the future use gm touch up paint and a tooth pick then call it a day. Another great option is drcolorchip. Good luck and please dont use your beautiful car for testing stuff out you dont know much about. Thats what beaters are for.
