..last heard, Toyota sales are up again due to the incentives to re-establish their tarnished name brand..

Not necessarily. They've had a good decade worth of propping-up from our beloved media...it'll take more than a month of recalls and irresponsible behavior to sway their mindless consumer-base.


Right now, I guarantee you that the majority of them are upset the news stations are giving Toyota such a hard time over such small issues...I'd bet my future Camaro on it.

If evidence is found that they actually knew about evidence of their faulty systems, then that should be the nail in the coffin. I would agree with you, but what is being attacked is what was being exaggerated for all those years. The majority will begin to severely doubt the company, and that's when the company should take a major sales plummet.

The only way to measure how much of a hit Toyota will take is to know rather or not they hid evidence from the government that led to their faulty systems.
