In the beginning I had such a smell too. After narrowing down all the possibilities, I was seeing brake fluid smeared on the top of the master cylinder. Every now and than I clean it and oil appears again. Once I replaced the cap it stopped leaking and the smell of oil too. It’s normal at the beginning when breaking in a new car, but it wouldn’t hurt to do a thorough check - we have to do our part too.
