Thanks, the more I look at it the better it looks. It looked odd on paper, but the plate looks okay.

I think it looks just fine. Here in NC we can request a personalized plate online. It even puts your choice in a frame that looks like an NC plate so you can see what it's going to look like, even shows if your choice is available or not. We have an 8 letter limit. They are mailed to your house in about 2 weeks. Cost about $77 though..
