Spin the wheel as you hold the paintbrush on the edge of the wheel.

You're right. There is no definitive line, so the painter had to eye it. It's a lot of work because he had to tape off the entire wheel after the powder coating was done.

If you look VERY closely you can see some parts of the line are a little wider than others, but I'm very happy overall. That couldn't have been easy to do.

I have seen a tool online you can use to make a pinstripe around a wheel. I think it was around $400.00.

very nice!!!! if you paint the chevy bowtie on the center caps that would really set them off. excellent job, really set the car off.

looks great, whats the gloss % on those wheels im looking to do the exact samething with a sort of blue pin stripe for my cgm ss

I'm really not sure. The paint is obviously IOM to match, but the rest of the wheel is powder coated flat black.
