Wheel weights on 20" wheels
Well got to see my first 2 SS today. Yellow car ordered with dealer installed 21" wheels but still has the 20 in wheels on it now. With the 5k mark up car is hitting 48K...no thanks! Vin was in the 109xxx range and it is at Colonial / Hendrick in Norfolk Va
I noticed this one doesnt have the weights on the calibers but I was surprised that every wheel has 3 to 3 1/2 ounces of balance weight on it. Is that normal for these cars? I know when I put new tires on my Z 06 the most I used was 1.25 oz. and that was only on one wheel. These are all like this. No biggie I guess but the weights look sort of tacky. |

As far as the weights on the wheels, I don't know how many ounces one segment weighs, but one of my 350Z Rays Engineering forged wheels has 14 segments on it at one location. Seems like rather alot to me.
