We did the same... and got the incentive / rebate.

I think the dealers that are insisting on the "Blue Card" being present really don't know the actual rules... Your proof of USAA membership (with number) is all that is required.

Actually these dealers are WELL INFORMED... they get audited and end up losing the $750 if they don't police it correctly or they come back on you. Anyone can join and get a bank account w/ USAA now. The rebate is meant for FULL members w/ access to all USAA services.

Back before GM tightened up the rules (Jan 2010) you could get away with just showing a print out w/ your member number. That's how I got it, even though I do have a blue card somewhere.

Retired USMC.
I just took in my authorization from USAA and showed them my ID card and got my discount.
I also financed through USAA because they gave me the best rate.

All I did was show the sales manager my valid USAA insurance card and I was good to go.

In the end I printed my membership profile from the online USAA web site and it was accepted.
